This lesson is an introduction to contemporary African dance and the more popular forms that as they are danced nowadays in the streets of South Africa. Gregory Maqoma will not only appear as dancer and choreographer at the festival; he is also the director of the Afrovibes Festival in the Netherlands, and therefore just the right person to introduce you African dance and music.
