Capoeira/Maculelê
 
Capoeira comes from Brazil. It is a unique combination of martial arts, dance, acrobatics and music.
Capoeira turns up more and more – also in the Netherlands – on street corners and elsewhere; it is infectious and spectacular. Contramestre Vladimir Frama will teach you the basic movements and kicking techniques. In this workshop, the emphasis will be on Maculelê, a form that is performed with sticks and is based on traditional war dances from Africa.
