From October 30 through November 18 2007, the eleventh Holland Dance Festival - the international dance biennale of the Netherlands - takes place in The Hague.

This festival that is the largest dance festival in the Netherlands, puts all the many diverse facets of the art of dance on display. For almost three weeks, more than forty dance companies and artists, from the Netherlands and around the world, will present over sixty performances in five theatres and at special locations. At the same time, an extensive variety of dance workshops is being offered. And, on the 4th of November, a procession of more than a thousand amateur performers will dance through the centre of The Hague in the third edition of the Dansparade.
