The Hague Moves Final/ DansFabriek

In the weekend of November 10th and 11th during the Holland Dance Festival, there will be a great number of activities for and by amateur dancers in the Theater aan het Spui. One of these will be DansFabriek (Dance Factory): a day devoted to amateur dance from the regional area with presentations by a wide variety of dance schools and a Dance Market. Participants meet and can watch other dancers perform. Dance-creators receive feedback from the audience on the achievements. It is the opportunity to get acquainted with all facets of dance and to find your way in dance-landscape of The Hague.

After the enormous success of The Hague Moves at the CaDance festival in 2006, the finale of the second edition of The Hague Moves will take place this fall during the Holland Dance Festival. Young choreographers are challenged to create a stage-worthy piece and perform it at the festival. There is no restriction on dance style, from street dance and break dance, to belly dance, capoeira, wushu, classical ballet and modern dance. Also check www.culturalis.nl.
